Workshop “Social Assessment – When people assess other people”

Date/Time
Date(s) - June 12, 2019 - June 14, 2019

In June 2019, a three-day workshop of 22 participants from nine countries took place in one of the intermediary sites in Northern Germany (Haus Sankt Ansgar, Kloster Nütschau). Participants with diverse backgrounds (academia, industry, legal consultancy, clerical organisation, and more) discussed the implications of AI use in social assessment contexts. Discussions revealed both, the relevance of professional backgrounds and cultural imprints on attitudes and opinions concerning the use of AI technology for assessing human beings.
